New Mother Bracelet

This bracelet was designed during my own experience of early motherhood, as a quiet, wearable piece to mark a time of transition. It is made by hand using a considered mix of opal, chrysoprase and larimar, chosen for their soft tones and calming presence.

The gemstones move gently around the wrist in a palette of milky whites, watery blues and fresh greens. The overall effect is light and soothing rather than patterned — a piece that feels easy to live in and instinctive to wear.

Each stone measures approximately 7mm and is individually hand-knotted onto silk thread, allowing the bracelet to sit comfortably while protecting each gemstone. The bracelet is finished with a solid 14ct gold bolt ring clasp, designed to be worn visibly as part of the piece.

Although inspired by motherhood and matrescence, this bracelet is not limited to one moment or stage of life. It is a piece about care, grounding and continuity - made for anyone drawn to its colour and feel.

It can be worn alone or layered with other Sorsa bracelets, and the bolt ring clasp also allows for the addition of charms if you wish to personalise it over time.

About Colour & Variation

This necklace is part of an ongoing Sorsa design and will be recreated in small batches.

Because each piece is handmade and uses natural gemstones, no two necklaces will ever be exactly the same. While the overall colour palette and balance remain consistent, the precise tones, sequencing and colour transitions of the stones will vary slightly from piece to piece.

These variations are intentional and celebrated. They ensure every necklace is unique, while remaining true to the spirit and proportions of the original design.
