Gemstone rainbows sit at the heart of Sorsa. It's where the earliest designs began, and that instinct still shapes every piece today: each stone used with intention, brought together into thoughtful colour stories rather than left unused. Building these palettes lets waste fall away naturally, and lets every gem find its place.

Wherever possible, Sorsa works with recycled gold and lab-grown diamonds, and repurposes leftover beads, clasps and off-cuts. It isn't a perfect system, but it is a thoughtful one: rooted in care, curiosity and continual improvement. As a small, independent studio, Sorsa is always learning, always refining how it works.

The priority is simple: pieces that honour their materials, avoid unnecessary waste, and feel good to wear in every sense. Choosing a Sorsa piece means supporting a brand growing slowly and consciously - jewellery made with both intention and joy.

Sorsa is a small studio; we design one-of-a-kind pieces and source stones and metals with care.

• Gold: recycled and responsibly sourced solid gold. We never use vermeil or gold-fill.

• Diamonds: natural and laboratory-grown, chosen for beauty and integrity. On product pages we list the exact specs; when a stone is laboratory-grown we say so in the Details.

• Coloured gemstones: hand-selected for character and cut. We prioritise traceable and responsibly sourced lots, and we continually improve our supplier screening.

• Craft: slow-made, repairable, and designed to be treasured for decades.

What’s next for us:

• Independent certifications that fit a small, artisanal studio (think Positive Luxury, RJC and Fairmined).

• More transparent stone stories as we build longer-term supplier relationships.
