Where do you source your gemstones?

We work with trusted suppliers across the UK, USA, India, and Thailand. Building strong, transparent relationships is central to Sorsa, and we are continually refining and expanding our sourcing network to ensure both quality and integrity.

What materials do you use?

Every piece is made with natural, carefully chosen gemstones, solid gold, and pure silk thread. Each detail is considered for both beauty and longevity.

How do I know the quality of gold in my piece?

All Sorsa jewellery is hallmarked in the UK to guarantee gold purity. You’ll find the laser hallmark on the clasp, which indicates the karat. You can learn more about hallmarking and symbols [here].

Why do you knot your designs?

Each necklace and bracelet is hand-knotted on silk. This centuries-old technique adds strength, prevents gemstone friction, and gives the piece a beautiful fluidity when worn.

What happens if my jewellery breaks?

Silk is a natural fibre and, over time, wear can occur — especially with everyday use. We know accidents happen too (little hands, tangles, busy lives). If your jewellery needs repair, contact us at info@sorsajewellery.com and we’ll guide you through our repair process.

How do I care for my jewellery?
To preserve the beauty of your piece, store it in its pouch when not worn, avoid contact with perfumes or harsh chemicals, and take it off before swimming or exercising. Silk-knotted jewellery should be kept dry.

How long will my order take?
Ready-to-ship pieces are dispatched within 2 business days. Bespoke designs typically take 2-6 weeks, depending on the complexity.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs and times vary by destination and will be calculated at checkout.

What is your returns policy?
We accept returns of unworn, non-bespoke pieces within 14 days of delivery. Bespoke and customised jewellery is final sale. 

Are your materials sustainable?
Sustainability is at the heart of Sorsa. We work with recycled and vintage gold wherever possible, and our designs are hand-made in small batches to avoid waste. You can read more about our values [here].
